Scientists push the boundaries of manipulating light at the submicroscopic level

An international team of researchers (UK, Germany) has developed a general theory describing multi-mode light–matter coupling in systems of reduced dimensionality. The researchers explored their phenomenology, validating their theory’s predictions against numerical electromagnetic simulations.
