New electronic chip delivers smarter, light-powered AI

An international team of researchers (Australia, USA – Colorado State University, UC Berkeley, China) has designed a neuromorphic imaging element based on a fully light‐modulated 2D semiconductor in a simple reconfigurable phototransistor structure.
